In the woods, Selene finds the child who carries her magic, the lover she lost, and a truth that could destroy them all. (Plus, vote to help name the book!)
I suggest the series title is the Circle of Blood and each book have a subtitle
I get that the poop spell adds levity and connects Selene’s youth of the past to Sia’s current youth and gives them a bonding moment. I’m not sure where it’s gonna go that isn’t too gross for the reader. Is it a placeholder?
Is Sia suicidal? What’s happening with the wards? Is there a parallel with trans youth or?
Can we eventually have a queer parenting triad please? (Selene, Lyra, Arielle)
Loving everything about Lyra’s indigenous witch responses to Selene. Would love if Lyra could see Selene’s dreams somehow. Also love everything about Albee as a character.
Trans and queer youth is definitely coming up in the story, without getting too close to Her Majesty's Royal Coven. And for sure having some queer parenting poly and community parenting coming up!
As far as the poop spell ... not to spoil upcoming ideas but I think she's going to reinforce it to a stronger container later so that was a one time levity, but maybe the kids joke about it later to bring it back (I see more magical kids coming along.)
Oooh, I like the series called Circle of Blood. That's a good one. Definitely doing subtitles for each book within it. Is The Blood Witch too generic? I do like it.

Oooh, I love the idea of Lyra seeing dreams. Definitely adding that.
