I obviously also want there to be a hippie witch coven so please work that in too if the ex coming into power does win. I’d love to see a third gender option (Dame, etc) I want to know more about their powers. Why can’t the elders teleport or travel faster? I feel like we do need an ex run in at the very least maybe the ex tries to return the old relationship vibrator? Can we pull poly concepts into this story? Many lovers! Thanks for including the pictures super helpful for my brain. Appreciated the mom shows love via perfectionism and protection but is bad at other love languages (relatable).

I am glad you like the pictures! I thought of your brain when I decided to add them. It's hard to find more exact ones for the characters, but it's nice to have some.

Oh yeah, there totally needs to be a hippie witch coven now. And a magicked vibrator. When I wrote both those poll options I thought "yes, these!" I love the idea of the ex trying to give back the vibrator. That's hilarious. I definitely want a run-in with the ex.

And yes, poly for sure will come up. At The Ripped Bodice during my book tour for Because Fat Girl, I promised the audience that if I wrote a witch fantasy there would be a polycule in it, so I gotta keep that promise.

The idea I'm thinking is that the third gender option is something the old school coven fights against and the new generation has already embraced. I was kind of thinking it would be interesting if the coven members accept queer, trans, and non-binary folk in their community, but not onto the Coven Council or other special coven meetings that have historically been reserved just for women. Allow them to have the conversations on page about what constitutes a woman's space.

Good thought on teleportation. I hadn't even thought of that. Hmm. How badly do we want that? Because it is really friggin' cool, and if there's a battle coming (which I think there needs to be a battle coming with the villain and the wards falling) teleportation makes the waiting and heading into battle different. Even the heading to the mountains. Oooh! Maybe it's something witches used to be able to do but the power has been lost and the poly, kinky, queer and trans witches start to get these long lost powers because they're less rigid in their control of trying to keep the world around them "as it's always been."
